Anybody feeding Diamond high energy?

Well just got word Black Gold is going up another dollar!! Crap it goes up every other month now.Gonna be 18.50 a bag which is probably still cheaper than alot of yall get it for.... Any of yall feed the diamond high energy 24/20 ? Its about 3 dollars cheaper a bag than the black gold 26/18. I used to feed diamond but have fed blackgold for 5 or 6 years now but this year alone its went up 3 dollars a bag.Which is plum crazy... How does the high energy diamond work for yall????

My buddy feeds it and loves it! I wouldn't be able to tell you anything from personal experience though. We feed the Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice. It is $21 for a 40# bag but our dogs do great on it. Have been feeding it for about 2 years now. We are thinking about switching to Diamond Extreme Athlete--it is also a Naturals formula. It runs around $27 a bag for us, but is 32/25.

I fed high energy for a while and I didnt like it as much as the diamond formulas. There was a lot of excess stool and my dog didnt keep weight on very well. I love diamond but of all their products I disliked this one. I prefer the premium or the performance formula. I would encourage trying diamond but keep in mind that every dog is different and one dog food that works for one dog may not work for another. good luck.

Id really like to try the extreme athlete but no one carries it around here yet.

I had good results from it.

Diamond High Energy-- I have fed it and it will give em energy for sure IMO, its good feed.
I feed mostly purina Dog Chow green bag and have for years. The Dog Chow is easy access and price isn't too bad, works good enough for maintenance ( hunting 2-3 nights a week), I switch to high energy when hunting a dog real hard or during real cold weather.

when I switched

from Diamond to Black Gold, my hound gained weight. I give him less Black Gold than I did Diamond to maintain his weight, so I'm guessing the price will work out about the same for you when all is said and done...

I sometimes feed the Diamond Hi energy in the winter in our frigid Upstate New York climate, and the dogs do well on it during the colder months. With insulated dog houses, and the dog feed soaked in hot water, the dogs do quite well during long frigid spells.

I just switched to Diamond Extreme Athlete and its the best. I noticed a difference in just 3 or 4 days. Its $26 a bag but well worth it.

Diamond High Energy

Feed it (probably too much), dogs are sleek and fat. Pay $16.95 a bag for 50# bag at Tractor Supply.
