Heros Sire is nite ch. Yadkin River Hollywood and his Dam is Yadkin River Taboo. Goes back to HoF Yadkin River Tom 22 times with no Crowder or Sacket Jr. blood. Bred for heads up track running with enough nose to get to the end of the track. Enough Banjo blood in these old Yadkin River dogs that you don't worry about the treeing part.

Jack that pup is INTENSE on that tree. His 2 older sisters are the same way. I think Hero is very good looking! Good luck to you and Eric

Just wondering why do feel it,s a plus to not have Crowder or Sackett Jr. blood?

I don't think he's saying that. But he might. Actually me and my dad were talking about trying to go back to some Yadkin River hounds. Not that I haven't been pleased with the Sackett Jr. stuff. But Yadkin River are usually easy and early starters, and coon crazy. Can be a little gamey, and shy, but will warm up once they have been with the same owner for a couple months. Hard tree dogs. And very good track hounds.

Sounds like Tailkicker has had some Yadkin River before because he hit the nail on the head. The reason I don't care for Sacket Jr. blood is imo they are a little too much tree and not enough track.Don't get me wrong, I know there are exceptions, I'm talking about averages. The only thing I have against Crowder dogs is they have a tendency to throw a little tighter mouth dogs than what I like and they don't seem to start quite as early. They still make COONDAWGS. Hey Yadkinman......take care of old Hollywood. We may need a few more of these.

Hey Mike, I like to start them early but that might be pushing things a little. I'll get over there as soon as I can but my wife has been keeping me busy with honeydos. Me and Terry snuck off today and ran the beagles. If we don't get some rain soon we might as well leave the beagles up.....later.

Shooooowwweeeeeeee Tiny, ain't they bred close enough already? Might work but the family tree ain't got any limbs on it now. Do that and it's gonna look like a light pole. Getting where we might need to add a little outside blood. Bad as I would like to see a litter out of Thunder we need to find a good Banjo blooded bitch to raise a gang out of. Keep'em in the woods and come see me.

I drew a dog saturday night out of Yadkin River Hollywood and Yadking River Taboo named Yadkin River Sweet Pea owned by Billy Joe Williams in Limestone, Tn. I thought he owned the Hollywood dog who died this feb. Maybe there are two Hollywoods.

Roger Wilson ( Just 1 Yadkin River Hollywood)

Billly Joe Williams did own "NiteCh" Yadkin River Hollywood till the day he died. Zach just puts him on his list cause Joe said he could. How did the Sweet Pea dog do?

She did really good. She seems to be an honest quick strike dog with some really good track power. All the coons wanted to go in the ground for some reason that night.

Zach did you get your old dog back?

taboo

Hope to get Taboo bred to Waylon Wilsons Luke dog today. His sire is a full brother to Hollywood and he's been throwing some nice hounds. These pups should be able to reduce the coon population. Several good matings in the works right now.
