We watched your daughter handle this hound... There is NO QUESTION she actually HANDLED the hound! When she first got out there Bob laughed and said OH give me a break... then Lexie began to put her hands on that hound and he said WOW! LOL.... AMAZING! Cute as heck as well I might add THIS little girl will be a heartbreaker...GOOD LUCK in High school!
This post made me realise an amazing thing... we took a bazillion pix... of Everything and all the classes...I JUST noticed we were SO wrapped up in WATCHING the kids show that....WE TOOK NOT ONE PICTURE of it! I'm stunned... What a couple of doofuses. We did this last year coming home from AO when we saw a perfect photo op. with a gorgeous Buck. Bob had camera in hand and just Stared....LOL... Darn it!

THIS kids show made the trip even more worthwhile. I don't know how many kids were there but there were a TON! They were GOOD! Bold and fun loving! But Lexie will stand out in our minds!

We were sitting right behind the bench she was on and I just loved watching her walk that dog in and out of the ring and put it on the bench. The best part was when she walked her hand all the way to the end of the tail to strike that beautiful pose.

Thanks for letting her do that it made my day!!!!!!

Lexie has watched me mess with the dogs around here and she knows that putting the tail up is one of the things that you do. LOL
There is no doubt about it by the time she is big enough to control her own hound she will be showing by herself with out help from mom. :-)
She is a great girl. I couldnt ask for any better.

i really enjoyed the kid's show. have no idea who the kids were that showed my dogs. they wanted to show so i gave them the dogs to show. there were a lot of cute kids there.
but also in the regular show there was a little girl who showed her own dog. she showed treeing walkers. this girl couldn't have been more than 10 or 11. but she went in with the big guys and held her own. she did a good job.
