Grawling problem

My 15 month old B&T hound grawls and barks at stangers, how can I break him of this problem so that he can be around other people other than myself. Any suggestions!!!!!

if he only does it in the kennel I would'nt worry about it . I have a 2 y/o bluetick that does it. but when he's out he is ok. besides that you know he won't be stolen
