hey guys

is it normal for some dogs out of a litter to be taller than breed standard 15"??
both my dogs are over 15. my blanket back dog is 18" tall and my other dog is 17". is that a normal occurence in the beagle world? i'm new to the sport and was just wondering.

Depends on the two dogs. But ya I have heard of some dogs that should of been 15" make it 17 or so. But with UKC you can't hunt them if there over 15". Even thou I have seen adds for events in NC for dogs that must be aleast 17" but I think there hunting fox maybe?
