HI Standard Dog Food

I got a free bag of Hi Standard in the Blue Bag. Was wondering who feeds it and how your hounds do on it. We usually feed Diamond Naturals Lamb & Rice and really like it a lot. We started feeding the Hi Standard a couple days ago and the dogs seem to be the same with the only difference that I have noticed is they poop more. Time will tell if they can go as hard and if their shiny coats stay the same. Let me know how yall like Hi Standard....

I used to feed it, it seemed like the dogs drank a lot of water, it must have a high salt content, now feed pride with no complaints, except every time I go to buy more the price goes up

I fed 24/20 and liked it just fine. I don't notice that much of a difference between most feeds that cost a similar price. When you start noticing a difference is when you start shelling out more money for the higher end stuff.

I fed Hi Standard for a while but went back to Black Gold due to excessive clean up in the kennels and one of my dogs wouldn't eat it.

I really liked it but it is about impossible to get. the distributers he has dont distribute. and you have to buy a whole semi load to be a distributer which would cost around $10,000.

Hi-Standarad

I'm feeding it now. Was feeding Pride and was well satisfied with the Pride but the man I get my feed from switched . I have feed the Hi standard before for a short period and liked it then.

Been on the High Standard now for about three weeks . Only difference I could see was for the first few days the stools were a little loose but after the intial switch they tightened up and I can't tell much difference then where I was with the Pride feed.

Feeding the blue bag now and maybe will switch to the purple bag this winter during hunting season.

I have been feeding Hi-Standard for about 3 years now and I just love it. I have never had any problems with the stools being runny at all. I recommend to any one that is feeding it with stool problems, you are feeding to much. All of my dogs are fat and slick, and it is absolutely emberrassing on how little I feed my dogs.

I would recommend Hi-Standard Dog Food to everyone. We have a distributor here in Missouri that I got to buy a tractor trailer load earlier this year. He is now selling about 2000 bags of Hi-Standard every month and making some money. He was selling Sportmix and there was so many other distributors around him that they were all just fighting each other----I am currently doing some sales work with Hi-Standard, give Wade a call at the Hi-Standard main office, toll free 866-357-3335.

I really liked High Standard when it was available. I would like to get it again. I ranked it to the Black Gold when first introduced, very nice product. Currently feeding Pzazz, dont like it quite as good as I did HS but still a nice feed for the money. Its all about opinion and not all dogs do as good on each feed. Every dog has its own break down system, just like we do.

Hi-Standard dog food

I am currently feeding Hi-Standard , and have been for about a year. I was reluctant to switch from Diamond, but I am very glad that I made the switch. I have better stools with Hi-Standard and paying about $1.50 less for the 26-18.

And oh yeah, I want to thank Hi-Standard for their donations to several coon hunts and fox hunts that I have recently attended. The last 2 fox hunts that I have attended Hi-Standard has donated 1 ton of dog food and also 20 b ags to our last coon hunt.

Jeremy.

Thanks for the replies....I am going to feed the rest of this bag and get another just to see how the hounds do on it semi-long term. I like Diamond just as well as this but I haven't checked the price on HS for my area yet so we'll see. I can get a vendor coupon for $3 on Diamond L & R plus it has been on sale for $18 at my local Tractor Supply so if the HS is less than $15 for a 40# bag then I'll keep buying it......
