DID HER MILK COME IN? ARE THEY NURSING? WERE THEY GOOD SIZED WHEN THEY WERE BORN? TRY FEEDING THEM YOURSELF WITH MILK REPLACER, AND CALL YOUR VET. SHE SHOULDN'T BE BLEEDING STILL. DID THE PUPS HAVE A THREE DAY CHECK AT THE VET? ARE THEY INDOORS WHERE THEY CAN STAY WARM, OR HAVE A HEAT SOURCE OF SOME KIND. SO MANY DIFFERANT THINGS CAN GO WRONG.
WE HAD A WALKER ONCE, (GOD REST HER SOLE), THAT WOULD STOMP ON A PUP AND KILL IT IF YOU TALKED TO HER. I TOLD HER ONCE, "LAY DOWN THERE AND LET THEM BABIES NURSE, THEY'RE HUNGRY" SHE CURLED HER LIP AT ME AND SQUINTED HER EYES. STOOD UP AND STOMPED ON A PUP. SHE DID THAT A FEW TIMES. LET'S JUST SAY....I NURSED THEM WITH A BABY BOTTLE UNTIL THEY COULD EAT ON THEIR OWN.

You probably need to take her to a vet. It could be something wrong with her milk or she may have mastitis and they aren't getting any milk at all. We had a female here that went to sleep two days after having a litter of 12 and never woke up. We ended up raising them on a bottle. All the pups that didn't get her first milk died at three weeks old. We only saved 5 out of the dozen. Amy

sometimes

they have milk, but it is bad milk(acidic) if thats the case they will have to be bottle fed. if the pups are not content and are whining all the time you better start playing moma, and theres more to it then just feeding them. you have to stimulate them to urinate and BM. does the mother act like she is taking care of them or ignoring them!!

I raised my dirty dozen like this. I went to our local tractor supply and bought a bucket of milk replacer for about $16 a box. All these are not the same so be careful which you choose. I then mixed it as directed with warm water. I added to this mixture 2 egg whites, 1 can of goat's milk, small container of vanilla yogurt, and some liquid children's vitamins. You can keep it in the fridge for a few days. Our vet was a godsend. If you cannot keep them with their mama then keep them in a tub of shavings. Don't use cloth or paper bedding. Their urine will cause them to chafe and will burn their skin leading to infections. You will need to get a baby wipe or damp cloth and gently rub thier bottoms and tummies to stimulate them to go to the restroom. They will need to be fed every few hours until their eyes open. Then you can try and get them on solids. I will gladly help you anyway I can. I have been there and know what its like. Call me anytime (205)429-4760 Amy Myrick
