Joe Brooks is CORRECT. I took this picture of "ole Dale" and myself on my last visit there 6 weeks ago. Had my face "cropped" off.

This guy is now 74, has had his own dog since age 5. Very few living(or deseased) have contributed more to the B/T breed than this old guy.

I went up with a friend to pick up a couple of females from Dale. Later I talked to Dale and he asked," is that feller satisfied with them dogs"? I assured him that "that feller" was satisfied . Dale is not gonna alllow a deal to "go down" unless whoever he is dealing with is "satisfied".

I went down to see, his dogs, about 7 or 8 years ago, i didn't buy one off of him, but i did visit, with Dale, and every once in a while, i'll give him a call.

I called him, yesterday evening, i had not talked, to him in a while. He said he was about out of dogs, he only had eleven, he said last summer, he had forty, he sold them all, but eleven. He said he was finding it harder, to go hunting, any more, i said, it's easier, to talk about it, than it is, to do it. I have always found him easy to talk to and most times, i will learn, something new.
