for indiana coonhunters

has anybody been huntin in the cold lately--- hows your luck been? was just wonderin-- last time i was out was saturday night and treed one den and another den with the coon---- also, have they been movin only a certain time?

since it turned cold they been running early,even before dark.

I dont know when there running

last night my pup struck and treed and my buddys GRNTCH backed him... grinner

next dump my pup hits a track and then later the GRNT trees but don't sound convincing... another grinner and my puppy came into it later.

next dump we sit and sit and sit then we hear um way the *$%# back there behind the woods. We finally get to um and ones on a fence and ones jackin around in an old barn

HAVE NOT HUNTED IN ABOUT TWO WEEKS HAVE A DARN COLD I JUST CANT KICK MISSED WORK 3 DAYS LAST WEEK FROM IT AND I ONLY LIKE TO MISS WORK TO HUNT LOL.

THE LAST TIME I HUNTED TREED 3 ALL MALES HANGING ON THE OUT SIDE OF DENS.ONE DEN YOU COULD SEE 2 COON UP IN IT.
I WILL TREE THEM IN THE RUNNING SEASON.

coons move'n

I went for the first time in three weeks, we hunted state ground near brookville and we turned loose at 7:30 jammed one up on the outside reel quick. the next drop different dog and nothing. dropped the young dog again BAM! den.. Everyone's tell'n me there running early.

well i went huntinglast night and a dog i have off of southern pines jet slick treed then we cut him again and he treed a den-- the pretty much treed all dens

last nite we treed on 12 trees that had at least one coon in each one and treed probably that many dens too.
they were moveing early and were still moveing when we quit at 1:30 this morning.
we hunted an area that had 3-4 inches of snow on the ground.
its amazeing how good the dogs look when coon are moveing.lol

Went tonight with a wind chill of 10* and a wind of 25mph,I made three trees 1 on the outside 2 dens and on the second den I could see the coon,called it quits on a good note and came home.
