Vote Michigan

Where are all the sportsmen?

When they came to protect the doves, I voted with them. I don’t hunt doves. How can you eat something as small as a woodcock? Besides, I see them at my bird feeder sometimes.

When they came to stop hunting with hounds, I voted to ban it. After all, there was that time the coon dogs came on my property and woke me up. The hunters apologized and left but it was too late- I was already up!

When they came to ban trapping, I voted with them. I saw a commercial on TV that said traps were cruel. I didn’t have time to find out for myself.

When they came to take baiting from the bear hunters, I voted to stop it. It’s too easy to hunt a bear over bait…. Isn’t it?

When they came to ban bow hunting, I supported them. I hear that bow hunters lose a lot of wounded deer. Besides, that will leave a lot more deer for me- I hunt with a rifle.

When they came to stop duck hunting, I agreed. I’d never want to spend a rainy November morning in a muddy swamp. Besides, how tough can duck hunting be? My kids feed them bread at the park.

When they came to stop us from deer hunting, I couldn’t believe it! Don’t they know deer hunting is a tradition?!? And now the polls say they may actually win! Where are all the sportsmen?!?

I'm voting "Yes" on Proposal 3. Are you?

I am with you Jeff. This type of propsal is known as "Gateway Legislation" it always opens the door to something that it was not intended, or was intended just not mentioned. Is there any wonder to why Peta and HSUS is totally in support of this proposal? Any legislation that wants to limit or take away our rights as sportsmen and sportswomen, needs to be done away with. Vote yes on PROP 3!

Just becuase that type of hunting isn't neccesarily our thing, does not mean it should not be allowed!

While we are at it, DUMP GRANHOLM!

Good post Jeff

Everytime I see an ad on TV with some guy saying "I am a hunter and I am against Dove hunting blah, blah blah....." It makes my blood boil.

They say I don't see why someone needs to shoot an inocent Dove. Well niether do I, but they should be able to if they want. If hunters don't stick together the Anti's will pluck us off one game species at a time.

Jared

HSUS and other anti-hunting groups go after the easiest target first then once they win that, then who is next trapping, hound hunting, bow hunting?? Let us show the anti-hunters that Michigan Hunters stick together.

Vote Yes on 3
