Here we go again. Wolves

quote:
CO David Miller responded to two reports of wolf depredation involving bear hunting dogs from a local hound hunter. The first incident involved a hunting dog being attacked and eaten in the Baraga plains area. After the first loss of the first dog the hunter turned his efforts the next week to an area approximately five miles away. His hounds began chasing a bear which led them again into the Baraga Plains area. This time two plot hounds were killed and partially eaten by wolves.

Any one else here about this one?

Got the info here.

Are they protected? Were they put there by the DNR? Does the DNR deny them being there? I could go on.

How many PEOPLE were killed by wolves this year? "Stupid is as stupid does"

Three HUMANS in florida I know of, and at least three local dogs I can think of.

Its the woods, its full of wild animals. Thats my point.

Turning wolves loose to control another animal is dumb, you just create one problem to solve another. Does anyone recall seing the orange bugs that look like lady bugs, their everywhere. turned loose to control some other insect. Leave things alone and let them work it out on their own. My uncle in WVA said they have red wolves turned loose down there, a week old Angus calf was killed close to his home. What do you think is an easier target, a Deer or a young calf.

Hip Hop, very easy to avoid Gators, I have been hunting and fishing my whole life, and have never even seen one. Oh yeah they only have gators in the south.
