ok so lucy was thought to have been bred the 1st or so of august shes due tomarrow not showin much at all. last time she had belly full of 12 pups...well i given up hope she didnt take, but im thinkin if the idiot left her in the pen wiht the male the whole 2 weeks she was there liker he said he did after we told him not to....but anywho...(picked her up 5th of aug) then i got the due date wrong.....shes now got milk. her teets r not HUGE but i squeezed milk out no prob...could still b a false preg? maybe just one pup? the waitin game begins. i dont have $120 to take her to vet for xray to see for sure. also gonna take her temp here in a bit soon as i go to town n get a new thermometer. will get pics later.

Don't give up hope! You never know what these dobes with throw at you!
I had a friend whos dobe what supposed to be due in a week, we looked at her and she did not look bred (we where getting a pup so kinda disappointed). Well the next day we looked at her before we left and she was either bred or waterlogged! She had 5 pups. She just carried them way up in her deep chest.
So just maybe she has them up in her chest cavity and maybe there are only a few.
As I am sure you know...Dobes don't make anything easy or CHEAP!
