pleasure hunting

a few of us from wis. are going to the pup hunt at rushville ind. we are leaving this thurs. will be in the danville area around 10pm. we were hoping to find someone to go hunting with around there before heading to rushville the next morning!!!

Dan Dogs, if you get the chance to go with masterd1976 go. Hunting with him was the first time I ever had asphalt paths to walk. LOL...Oh, and watch out for the railroad bridges.

how far

is danville from rushville, will it work out time wise? we wont get to danville till 10pm-midnite or do you work second shift. we are just looking for someone to go hunting with, not a hired guide im not nuts about asphalt and train tracks!!!

Masterd is a good guy to go hunting with. I would hunt with him in a min. if given the chance. The asphalt roads are remnants of paths that belonged to a hospital in that area. They are overgrown up with weeds and such, but you can still tell they used to be asphalt. One bridge in paticular was REALLY old and falling apart, watch that one. I had a great time hunting with Dennis and his friends. You should take him up on his offer. I hope to get to hunt with him again when we go to AO next year.

wondering if he had hunting spots around danville area because thats where we will crash in a motel for the night, iwouldn't want him to have to drive all the way back to danville once he got home from work. but if he worked second shift and didn't get of work till 11pm. or so it would work great!!!!

Bud you two wait till next time you come down. I'll rent the local park out so the walking is a little easier. They keep the grass mowed pretty well. Hopefully by then they have repaved the paths. We are holding english days again this coming year so maybe you can come for that too. I seen the pups you had for sale. I'm not a fan of the walker dog but those are some nice looking pups. I seen where Chrys is comp. hunting now. You may not be able to afford to come back with that addiction to help pay for.

sad news

sounds like we are going down with one less pup. the hugger pup and young blister pup owned by gordy anderson and mike noble got killed tonight on a highway. same highway they lost two dogs a year ago. sorry to hear that guys!!! mike if your reading this i'll call you in the morning. hugger was a litter mate to the two im taking down, they just turned 12mo. old and all three have been treeing coon by themselves for the last couple mo.

Sorry to hear about loosing the pup. Always hate to hear that.
Dan, sounds like we will have some tough competion at Rushville. The Maniac pup that Jay Hyde handled to the AKC World Hunt Final Four will be there and I heard that they are entering Slugger Jr. Beller has a nice pup ready too. Prolly about the same small number of pups as usual but a tough field to beat!
