been waiting

I been waiting to hear , any word on that last litter out of Jeb/PepperAnn they should be turning the crank by now. Jeb is probably going to get stud fee competition from some of his own sons. go figure.

Hey, Kelly. I have'nt been doing a very good job contacting folks to see how Jeb's pups are doing. Truth is most of his pups out there I have no idea who owns them or how thier doing. I'm learning its a lot harder to keep track of a studs pups then a females pups where you own the female and know exactly where ever pup goes.
There was only 4 pups out of the Jeb/Pepper Ann cross. 3 males and 1 female. I need to talk to John to see how things are looking. I have'nt talked to him in a while.
From what little I've heard on Jeb's pups there should be more pups then just the older litter of Jeb/Hiedi starting to hit some hunts next year.
As far as future pup comp in the stud dog department. Jebs no comp to anyone. He has'nt bred a female in about 2 years. Lol. I have some plans for him in the future though so its allright. I plan on linebreeding on him. He's by far the best I own and comparable to the best I've seen. I'd be very successful in the breeding pen if I could consistently produce pups just like him.
Derek and I had 3 Jeb/Hiedi pups out hunting Fri night. We had a pretty good night. The Jeb/Hiedi cross is proving to be a "supercross".

First off, Thank's for allways offering to help Shane. I like the idea. I just don't know what I'd do with Jeb on the 3 nights I'd be hunting. I hunt out of my subaru outback and just have a little plastic kennel in there. I can put Jeb and Maggie both in it but Jeb will go crazy when i dont let him out to go hunting and will try to push his way out everytime I try to get Maggie in and out. He might just bark in there the whole time I was hunting. Lol. I dont want to leave him just tied up back at the club with nobody there either. I'll probally just wait and make the trip to Dean's later this year. Thank's though.

Jeb has 2 NtCh's so far out of 31 pups total. That puts him at 6.45% and I suspect that will atleast double possibly triple just out of the 31 pups out there now that I know are treeing coon.
Jeb has not been bred to for about 2 years now, but thats ok. Just like a lot of reddogs before him folks will realize how good of a reproducer he was when he's dead and gone. The way I'm looking at it now is atleast I'm not gonna miss out. LMAO!

Hey, John. I got to talk to almost everyone about the Jeb/Ann pups, but you at National Days. I did'nt want to butt in on any of the conversations you were allready having when I seen ya. I know the female was going down south to get worked with on a steady basis and the male your talking about that was starting to come on strong. I also talked to Dan Rankin who now has the other male in the litter which had'nt been worked with before Dan got him. Last I heard he was just waiting for someone to put him in the woods and its sounding like he is gonna make a NICE dog now too. Sounds like they all got BIG dying bawl locates like thier daddy also. One thing is for sure if they take after thier mom and dad they should be winners. Talk to ya later, Adam.

Jeb x pepper ann in Canada

I have been hunting the male that Dan Rankin was talking about and he is really turning it on he has a big bawl on track big bawl locate and hard steady chop on tree he hunts hard and gets spilt from my nt champ if there is more then one coon around if not he will tree with him and is starting to beat him to tree first if he trees he does not move. Going to put a good hide season on him then put him in the hunt in spring if he keeps turning the crank the way he is hes gona be hard to beat.

I have people contact me from time to time looking for a pup out of Jeb. I don't know of any that are available and he has'nt sired a litter in 2 years so there are'nt many out there either.
I'd be willing to bet if someone bred a NICE female to him they'd have no problem getting the pups in good homes. Jeb is reproducing well and that is proving out from all the reports I hear. The biggest thing he has been putting into his pups is drive and a NICE locating treedog. This is proving true with multiple females he has bred.
