Anyone had one do this?

Has anyone seen a dog go dead silent hunting with strange dogs? I have year old male that is not afraid to do his on thing and when hunting alone or with my gyp he opens plenty cut him with strange dogs he is dead silent and boom treed and very accurate will take all the pressure in the world even gun pressure and trees with other dogs fine just never seen one go silent like that

Yes I have got a 4 year old that if you hunt him with another dog period he will not make the first bark until treed. Even if he is doing his own thing. But while hunting him alone he just hits a lick here and there on track. Also had a dog years ago that hunted good by himself and if you put him with a unfamiliar dog he wouldnt do crap until the other dog struck. He would just hang around the truck.
