One the map zooming to a different scale. You have to turn off the auto zoom. From your map page select the menu and you will see setup dogs and setup map. Both have auto zoom features. Generally just selecting dog setup and then you will see the zoom ON. Just turn it off and its corrected. Nothing wrong just a setting. You can also do the same with the map zoom if it is still zooming out.
From the compass page you can select small letters or large letters. If large is selected and you have more than one dog added. You will see one dog and then you can scroll to see another one.
