Hi, there. I live just north of Corry, Pa. If you want to make the drive to breed your female youd be more then welcome to. If you like I'd even show Jeb and one of his pups in the woods before or after we breed them. I think you'd like what you see.

You deserve the congradulation's, Derek. Your Hiedi female is gonna hit the reproducers list with force. Hazel's sister Maggie will be back in the hunts and ready to do some winning as soon has she comes out of heat. Theres gonna be a few titled dog that come out of the Jeb/Hiedi cross.

My Maggie female out of Jeb treed 3 coon in an hr hunt test last night and was trailing a 4th coon when her hr ran up. No faults. She's just coming out of heat so I'll have her back in the hunts next weekend and its only a matter of time before she starts racking up some hunt wins.

Thank's, Wade. I think she's really starting to come into her own now. She does'nt have a care in the world what the other dogs in a nitehunt cast are doing, shes gonna do her own thing wether she ends up treed with others or off by herself. Ussually by herself if she can help it. Once Maggie breaks the ice with that first hunt win I think she'll start to rack up some wins pretty quick.

Thank's, Derek. There were 13 reg dogs so she got 1.3 preformance pts. Hope to keep her rolling for the last few hunts of the year around here.

ive got a 2 year old male off jeb and heidi and by the looks of him somebody better be getting a female down there cus my pup getting it done gota mouth like a train huge locate and steady chop on tree and is doing it all alone very independent . I would highly consider breeding to him if had a nice female .

Jeb has not been bred to in well over a year. It must be that near all-grand ped of some of our breeds best thats keeping people away. Titles dont mean anything anyway to those who dont have them. Lol. Oh well. He is reproducing. I have 3 gens of Watts Flats titled hunting dogs in my kennel right now and thats more then most can say they have done in there kennel. I'll just keep doing my own thing like I always have. Maybe someday some folks will see that its not a coincidence that I keep producing coondogs in my kennel. Until then I guess I should just keep my mouth shut and remember that our breed is like a popularity contest most times and Jeb and I just are'nt that cool. Lol.

Sounds like you have something against all grand pedigrees stacked with big winners.....what is wrong with those kinds of dogs....if they have the ability to go along with that type of pedigree? Maybe Jeb is just a little too far for some people to travel to. I offered to help you with that one time....I am pretty well centrally located and that has alot to do with how many people breed to a good stud. Most of the studs with the highest numbers of pups are from the midwest...just something to think about....

I dont have any problem with GrNt peds with big winners in it. Those are the types of dogs I look to add to my stuff. I was just throwing a little sarcasm out in my post about how the fact that Jeb can throw a near all-Gr ped must be keeping people away. The comment was for all those that like to say titles dont mean anything. I've allways said if someone has a real coondog it should be able to finish in the hunts if entered.
I've told you before that I have alot of the same opinions has you. I ussually agree with about 90% of what you post. I would be very interested in sending you Jeb in the future to keep for a while at your place if you would be willing to do that still. My problem has allways been finances though. I need to make sure I have the extra money before I can get him to you and get him drawn at Dean's. I'd like to make it happen in the near future. Also I'd really like for you to get a chance to be able to put him in the woods and really see what he can do. You might find yourself really liking him. If you do then we could work something out so you have breeding rights to him and get some semen stored from him for your time and help with him.

Sounds good Adam, I have offered to help a couple of other people who wanted to get their dogs collected at Nevergone since it is only 10 mins from me and Dean is a very good friend....but they didn't seem too interested. I really do think location is the only thing keeping people away from Jeb...but I could be wrong. Worth a try to find out and I am willing to help and I think it would be good for the breed if a few more females were bred to Jeb while he is still able. I would also like to see semen stored from him for future use.

Up top for Jeb....he is a dog that many serious breeders should take a second look at. He is heavy Fireball bred on top and has some of the best Outlaw breeding on the bottom. Probably the best example of what can happen when you cross the best of two of the most popular lines in the breed. Jeb is a dog that caught my eye early on and that I believe has a place in my breeding program in the future.....Shane Maxey

Jeb is now 6. Here are a couple of pics of Jeb. 1 on the wood with the meat and the other with one nights worth of coon treed solo by Jeb when he was 2 and that was leaving the small ones in the trees.
