Growing Pains
Oh my goodness, who would think that in these days of quarantining, people staying home, hunts being cancelled and coonhunters decreasing in general that UKC would have problems with a huge increase in a program. Their Tournament of Champions was designed to increase the number of dogs in local hunts and reward top level coon hunters with a little money. Well it looks like it has been a huge success. Who would have thought that in the year of the panicdemic 1,000 dogs would have 5 cast wins and get qualified for the 4 regional hunts? If they all were to show up, each regional could have 250 dogs. Now there won't be an equal distribution so a couple of the regionals could have 300-400 dogs. Now that could potentially create a problem but it would be a good problem to have.
