I finished Buster to Nite Ch last weekend with another 1st place. 4 hunts - two 1sts & one 2nd place. Just turned 2 years old a few weeks ago. Buster is a tireless hunter who likes to get by himself and is good about having the meat. He's got that big Drifter mouth that you can hear forever. Complete natural. So glad I picked Drifter to breed Joey to and a big Thank You again to Courtney for everything he did to make it happen. See you all at Autumn Oaks.

Mr. Terry Bartles from West Virginia says he has a nice one called Wild Daisy. Daisy is out of Ol Drifter x Wild Wilma (Card x Saige). Terry says Daisy is going to be the "Real Deal"... can't wait to hear more Terry. Thanks for update!

"Wild Daisy" update.

Hunted Daisy in her first HTX hunt last night, passed with one coon and no faults, she also has a best of show in UKC and two best of shows in ACHA and one CHT pass.

Daryl Reiter had an interesting hunt last weekend GRCH NITECH Belly Buster got treed on island last weekend. Daryl had to go get a boat the next day and to his surprise Buster was still treed...

Two nice sons out DRIFTER. On the left is Drifter's Extreme Muddslinger (Mudd) and on the right Drifter's Wild Joker owned by Mike Herrimen of New Bern, NC. Joker got a UKC 2nd place this weekend in Snow Camp, NC.

Looking good Courtney!! And I wasn't too surprised that Buster stayed all night. He got treed about 11pm and I kept trying to find a place to cross the river and onto the island until I gave up and went home. I got home about 2am and could hear him locked down at 1.56 miles from my house. I woke up at 3am and walked out on the deck and he was still going strong. Then I woke up at 6am and he was still treed solid. I drove up there and walked down to him (he was just on the other side of the swollen river) and tried calling him across. The more I called for him, the harder he treed. We got a boat in about 8am and floated down to him and loaded him up 9 hours later. I took a little break from the hunts the last couple weeks. We're going to hit a few the next couple weekends to try and get him finished.

I got a chance to hunt with Buster while he was at Courtney's and I really liked him. Really good mouth, busted a hole in the dark and a really nice tree dog. CONGRATULATIONS !!

I was fortunate enough to be spectating on this cast last Friday night. It was a flawless display of what a coondog should be. 4 trees, 4 coon seen, plus one caught on the ground. It was fun to watch, I'm glad I was there to see it.
