Did the royals win suddenly because of some great rebuild? I don’t think so. Mike Moustakas and Eric Hosmer are fine layers but easily obtainable. There wal-mart owner finally opened the coffer and luck went their way. Didn’t have pitching for years. Pitching takes money. Bought pitching and then started winning. What a rebuild.

I was thinking the other day that I read people’s opinions that pup hunts, top reproducEr lists, etc. are ruining hounds.

I thought it is analogous to arguments against statistics like WAR, Pecoda, quality starts, etc. in baseball.
Stats or standings don’t ruin anything it is hunters in the first example and general managers in the latter putting too much emphasis or weight on them.

Did anyone else hear that during the first half of this season there have been more strike outs than hits in all of MLB? Never in the history of the game has there even been a month where there were more K's than hits and now it has happened every month?
