I had just read that Florida overwhelmingly voted to ban greyhound racing.

Yep

Horses are next! Then comes beagles running rabbits, and the list gets larger. Just a matter of time before we won't be allowed to eat a carrot. If we do,we'll be labeled " Carrot killers ".

Wife shows akc foo foo dogs. She said it also bans the agility and flyball courses. According to florida akc show people.

Dont know for sure. Some of her florida friends said their akc breed clubs have canceled future agility and flyball whenever this kicks in. What's going to happen to all the greyhounds?

I think some kind of group is supervising what happens to them. Communists I think.

The language on the ballot was to end gambling on dog races. Some say the fine print allows the antis to get their foot in the door to end any type of animal contests/hunting etc.

I always vote no on all amendments and judges

They'll petition for 💰 to help save them with a projected amount to cover it. Then it won't be met and they'll uthenize them and keep the 💰 for vacation homes and new cars and personal gains.

Don't know if it's true or not? If so, it sets a dangerous precedent for competing with dogs. Would they do the same with horses??? Bet not.

Yes it is true and the language is pretty open ended is the scary thing for anyone that competes with dogs in any sort of events.

Yea, just one of them little incentive laws to get a initiative foothold to start intiateing more laws little by little to build up majority support until they are strong enough to destroy freedom for all, including their stupid selfs.Ain't nothing new, its all been done before, with the same results, over and over.

Someone has a solution for what to do with the 8,000 greyhounds that they are trying to find "homes" for in Fla. And it will get rid of the coyote problem at the same time. They could also start a new TV show. It would be just as exciting as the Hog Man show. They would have to get a hot rod cameraman truck or film it from a helicopter. I saw a show where a cheetah ran a deer down and killed it but those greyhounds would be a lot more exciting.

We have several friends in SE Kansas that hunt coyotes just like that. Tearing across cut corn and bean fields with flat bed 4�4's loaded down with greyhounds in jump boxes on the back. This sport did grow tremendously when they shut down the tracks. There was a track at Pittsburg, KS which is where much of the stock around here originated from.
