Puppy toe pads

I recently got a new puppy and while trimming his nails I noticed that on both of his back paws the two middle toe pads are connected to form a “U” shape. He’s 3 months old now and walks, runs, and jumps just fine. I had him at the vet for his rabies and check up but never thought to look at his toes. Has anyone ever ran into this and had a problem with it once they got older?

Not all grand. This is the only puppy out of a litter of 9 with the toes like this. Talked to my vet and he doesn’t think it’ll be a problem.

Just don't breed it to another dog with the same problem, or that is related to it very close or your going to have the best water field champions in Pennsylvania......
