I can't remember the young guy who owned him's name, it was Nathan something. He did live in Alabama and won the PKC Youth World with him about 5 or 6 years ago and shortly afterward sold him. I think to the folks in Canada who owned Solid Northern Otis, their names escape me at the moment too. It's rough to get old!

Fred Holub in Ohio had him, last I knew. Tiny saw him hunt a little at the Fall Roundup a few years ago.

Tide is layin in the shade in my back yard right now waiting to go huntin.

At the time being he is owned by Fred Holub in ohio and me in Ontario.

He was sired by GRNT solid northern otis owned by mr solid northern(Paul currie). knewl stanrich (spelling) had him as a little pup and shipped him down to Mack singleton where he was hunted in Alabama. I belive Mack handed him over to Nathon who won the PKC youth world with him. Nathon put him up for sale and Jim Murphy from Ohio bought him and got him back up north. Shortly after, Fred Holub and Paul Currie Got him bought off Jim. They made him NTCH pretty quick. Brother Paul then had some personal issues come up and had to tap out of the dogs and handed over his half ownership to me. Tide spends half the year here in canada and half at Freds in south eastern ohio. Thats his history as well as I remeber and forgive me if Ive made any mistakes on names prior to me having him.

I can fill ya in on anything ya wanna know about how he hunts.

I thought Murph bought him from Nathan but I wasn't 100% sure on that.

I've been told he's a real nice dog.

I had the first litter out of tide they are 16 months old and all running treeing coon 1 I sold started treeing own coon at 4 months old I offers the kid 1000 dollars for her then and 3000 dollars this winter when she was 10 months old wow a coon treeing machine! Tide is a coon dog for sure Fred brought him over this season and hunted he did exactly what Fred stayed he do I would have bred Shelly to him again this last time but he was in Canada!next spring!He is loaded with a pedegree!

Tide has 2 litters on the ground. The 1st is from Damons female. The 2nd is from a female Dave Sellers owns. I belive she is a littermate to nch mike arrons midnite rocket who has a stud add on here.

Would like to get him bred to some more. If any interest he will be back in Ohio in the middle of august and be there until spring.

Tide started out at Newall Standridges and went to the man who has Speedie now. The boy got him there and Mack had a youth finish him out PKC World Champion over all breeds Youth hunt 2009.Mack gets credit for finishing him out training wise.
Was the real deal and then some. Tide
Stan sold a cold nosed littermate bros.to Tide that was real good he finished him out. Tide hunted to deep here. My son got a 3rd brother littermate and sold him at ASHLAND A FEW YEARS BACK to Ill.Stan owns a littermate sister to Tide just bred to Speedie. Stan has an eye for crosses.
I have seen one or two Tide pups at Stans right now. Remember Stan also had 6 Pak and I loved to see her go at Stans before he sold her.
Called Fred Holub the owner now, once, on Tide, he is super nice man, have my eye on a Tide female, now, cannot get her bought, yet.

I got to meet Mack at the Alabama Bboa hunt this year. He is a nice guy. I understand how Tide got his name now. Lol He sure does like the Speedwagon dog and Jason Myers does too. Good luck in the future. Lance

This is when i had Tide here after purchasing him from Nathan in Alabama...Tide is a hard hunting , split treeing dog that will have the bacon..Paul Currie [left]myself[right]and Tide..Paul was going to Bluetick days in Ill. and stopped by a couple days for a hunt.

If someone does not post ped. in a couple hrs., I will. Have another female starting to come in, when does he return to Ohio?Middle Aug, is to late for me to use him. He won it all, I believe by just going an getting one, deep south , slim coon . Has the mouth to hear deep and alone.

My Dad's in hospice, I am off the board.

Better call Freds # in Bloodlines he is perf. sire.

Mr Hilty-Tide will be here in Canada until the weekend of august 25. Work and family schedual wont allow me to get away until then. Sorry about the timing but hopefully we can work something out in the future on your female.

In the mean time we are working on possibly getting one of our females bred up here that would be a line bred cross. Anyone wanting to breed to Tide he will be back in Ohio late august until next spring.
