My 14 month old female has never been in heat. Should I be concerned about this?

Not really. My female was 1 yr. old Sept., 2012 & didn't come in till April, 2013. Let nature take its course. Take care, Ron.

Females come in anywhere from 6-24 months, smaller breeds trend to come on earlier, larger tend to come in later. Is she around males? I had a female that was 6/7 years old that used to come in religiously, then my male dog died, she skipped two heat cycles, then I got another male, and she came in within weeks...

Ok, thanks everyone. She's been around my male dog her whole life. I have a 16 month old female that's been in heat twice already, but she hasn't. I thought females would come in before a year old. Thanks for the info.

I have a 3yr old female that's never been in heat the vet said it was hormonal problem
