A grain free diet!!! I had ear and skin problems for years with the dogs. Since I went to a grain free feed I haven't had either. (Knock on wood..)

Food for thought Randy.
To the gentleman that called me earlier thanks for the info. I'll check into it.

Ear cleaner

If you hunt in the summer in Texas the water is nasty and can cause a lot of ear trouble . Here is what I use. 16-oz witch Hazel 4 tablespoons- boric acid 16-drops gentian violet 1 1/2 oz vinegar mix together . If you have ear trouble now use it every day for a week then twice a week for the next week. If you use it as a preventive wash dogs ears after every hunt that nasty water is involved then paper towel dry.

ear problems

Hydrogen peroxide once a week is a good & cheep way to flush out dogs ears if you have a major problem if not just flush out when ears get dirty

Half peroxide, half alcohol, add sweet oil drops, use daily.
