Tuff is a dog that was born from 2 of the best bluetick coon dogs I've ever had the privilege of following, GrCh GrNiteCh PKC Ch Blue Creek Gauge and GrNiteCh PKC Silver Ch Buffalo Creek to tuff Betty! This cross is a deadly combination of big time winners as well as big time reproducers! Tuff was named appropriately because he is all business. Tuff strikes when he smells coon, and opens according to track, he has a nice triple dying bawl locate and rolls into a steady chop. Tuff has shown that he can unravel tough old feeder tracks as well as tree a layup. I bred Betty to Gauge because he was one heck of a coon dog with all the bells and whistles! I was able to line breed off ( to this day) one of the best coon dogs I've ever seen, Buffalo Creek to tuff Betty! By doing this, Tuff has 2 of the best crosses I ever made on Betty in one pedigree, the Vinnings Runnin Bullet x Betty cross and the Betty x Gauge cross!! Tuff was no accident, he does what he was bred to do, tree real live coons! I truly believe he was bred to reproduce top caliber coon dogs as well!!
Tuff is co owned with Brian Weirich, and we are extremely excited to get Tuff pups on the ground .

One very important detail when considering a stud, other than the studs ability, and pedigree is what their littermates are. I'm proud to say that Tuff, like his mother comes from an entire litter of coon dogs! All are titled except one, and shes only been in 3 hunts, and has a 1st and 2nd. She is owned by Preston Street now, and will finish soon.... I can tell you this, Preston loves her!
Back this with Tuffs world class pedigree of top winners & reproducers, and he can't help but reproduce!

Congratulations on finishing Tuffs Littermate sister, Stormy to Nite Champion last night!
Both Tuff and Stormy were hide dogs all their life, and are just now getting a ride to town! This makes Tuffs whole litter titled!

Shadow, Ivy, Squirt, Stormy, and Tuff!! (one female died very young)

This is a dominant type cross, which will continue to reproduce, Squirt was bred to Banjo and reproduced the same kind of litter! Not just a couple good ones, but entire litters of good ones!

Tonight Tuff was entered in his first Nite Champion cast. Tuff won his cast, but didn't have enough for the Nite Champion win. Tuff is already proving to be a consistent cast winner!

So far Tuff has won 5 out of 7 cast entered. Last night there were 3 cast of Nite Champions with Tuff winning with a score of 900+
In Tuffs cast the closest dog to him had 25+ Tuff was only on one tree with another dog all night!

I'm also extremely proud to say Tuffs mother was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, and sincerely thank all who voted for Betty. Tuff is a good one out of the great ones in the bluetick breed, and a long line of em!

Out of the 14 ancestors in Tuffs 3 generation pedigree, half of them are top reproducers!!!
