Flies

Anything work good for flies on a dog. Got one that they wont leave alone. I wipe her down with spray for horses, but even that don't help much

I attach a permethrin fly tag to the collar. Seen no ill effects and no fly problem or fleas. I actually just run the lounge of the buckle thru the opening in the fly tag. Stay on well. Also keep kennels really clean.

Fly Captivator

Fly Captivator. It's a jug type fly trap. I buy mine at Rural King. Farm supply stores sell them. If you follow the directions real close they work good.
Just don't put it real close to the dog. I put mine 10 or more feet away.
It attracts lots of flies. The more dead flies in the jug, the more it stinks and attracts even more flies. If used all summer, year after year, you won't have any flies around to bother your dog.

Flies

I am using Swat Clear fly repellent ointment. Has Farnam on center of label assuming made by? For use on horses, ponies or dogs. Has been working real well. I put it on ears, center of head and finger width down center of back.
Got mine at rural king in livestock fly sprays and baits.
7 oz plastic container twist off lid $11.00.
