Gr.Nt.Ch. Appel's Blue Oak Gunsmoke

Gunsmoke only has 40 pups on the ground, but has proven to us he has something to offer the breed. He has produced several titled dogs, several with wins, and a good number of dogs that are too young for the hunts but are the right kind. His sire and dam were both reproducers and it is looking like Smoke is carrying it on. Smoke also comes from a successful cross, his sister is our Nt.ChGr.Ch. Appel's Blue Oak Gert's Lady. I have been very happy with the female I got out of the Smoke X Bee cross. I have heard many other people say good things about the dogs off of Gunsmoke and i have see pictures of these winning dogs online.

Lost a good dog yesterday , NT. CH. CH. APPELS BLUE OAK GERT, She was 13 years old and a reproducer and a real good COONHOUND,and buddy she made her mark on the Bluetick breed, and will always be in my heart. Good reports on Gunsmoke's offspring sounds like there will be a few more in the night hunts this year, as his oldest pups are not three years old yet.
