Men , I hate to criticize, but I haven’t hunted or been around the hound seen in 5 plus years, but noticed it before then. These dogs nowadays seem to have poor heads and muzzles , the majority of them. I see , almost like they have a bad overbite, and people will still call them good looking dogs . If you breed it, it’s not gonna go away.
Suggest the studs that have good heads ears and muzzles. Thank You.

sometimes a dogs willingness to use it's and what sits between the ears are more important than the ears themselves.
