parasites
Its that time of year. Looking to share ideas on parasite control this spring summer and fall.
Here's what I do...
Ivomec plus (zemecterin) for external parasites (mostly mange & ear mites) and the zemecterin for heart worm prevention I do this once a month year round.

I use a product called P.P.O (praziquntal, pyrantel, oxantel) for all intestinal worms. It kills tapes, hook, whip, and roundworms all in one shot. I use that once every 6 months unless I get a dog passing worms then I will follow up with another dose 2 weeks later on that dog. And it seems to give me really good results.
And last year I used k9 advantix every 30 days for fleas and the purple python cattle tags to keep ticks off the dogs with pretty good results. This all seems to work pretty well but my main concern is over medicating my dogs and bogging down there natural immune system and nervous system with too many chemicals and drugs.
