training a pup for the bench

ive got a 4 month old pup thats finally starting to calm down enough and listen to me well enough to start messing with. I was thinking about maybe working with him on the bench but ive never done anything like that. any pointers on where to start would be greatly appreciated

thank you

Everyday put you pup on the bench and get him to stand still first, then start working on seating the feet. Take your time and be passionate.

Go to a local show and ask for help. Most people will help show you how to seat him and get you lines straight and squared up. Good luck

START OUT JUST PUTTING HIM ON BENCH MAKING IT FUN THIS GETS HIM TO WANT TO BE ON BENCH AFTER WORKING THIS TRYING TO GET HIM TO STAND STILL THEN START PLACEING HIS FEET AT FRIST MAKE THE TRAING SHORT 10 TO 15 MIN I TRY TO DO IT 2 OR 3 TIMES A DAY EVERY DAY. LIKE BRYAN SAID GO TO SHOWS ASK OTHERS ADVICE YOU WILL GET MANY ANSWERS PICK THE ONES THAT WORK FOR YOUR DOG STICK WITH IT REMEMBER PATIENCE AND REPITITION IS THE KEY
