hot, humid, and yotes tonight.

took break from young dogs tonight and hunted minn, trix, and shadow. hot, humid, horrible bugs, crappy day working but cut loose hoping for the best. felt like crap from throat to chest since monday after couple days of windrowing bunch of oats that was weed infested in places and slightly rusty. the old deere open windrower sucks, so dirty and hot i wish it would disapear! LOL.

wanted to drive to creek near home to cut loose but tree had come down so couldnt drive in. horrible place to dump i thought but did anyway. shadow went 50 yds in wrong direction and was vacuum cleaning the ground like she can and struck making big circle. old girls looped back and went with sounding good but not fast. woulda bet a million dollars a coon wouldnt have crossed there but sure did. they ran crappy track a good 600yds and located and treed decent but tongues were hanging.

went few miles and dumped couple hundred off good creek and dogs musta not drank much cause struck awesome quarter mile in and went another half mile and slammed with 4 coon up. seconds after i cut loose yotes started howling in every direction but never bothered other than challenge barking. had some luck as drove fairly close to both trees, i was wore out after todays mid 90 temps. buddy called from kansas and was 104 there today so i didnt feel so bad...... LOL.

single, this one had been up awhile i believe.

"the older the violin the sweeter the music" minner at over 9 still liking the hot nights.
