Danner leather boot with chaps

Can anyone give any input on the danner leather boot/chap combo that k-light is selling?
I am looking for info on how they are doing keeping your feet dry. I am not as interested in the comfort as I have tried them on. I am concerned about them saying you have to treat them as needed to keep them water resistant. I know they are not gore-Tex but they do have a waterproof membrane in them. Danner dry. I guess it’s their answer to gore-Tex.
Also has anyone had any problems with them leaking where they are sewn on?
Thanks

Any leather boot including these will not hold back heavy water such as the orangeburg area or white river type hunting..If you hunt hills and cross creeks they will serve a purpose of keeping you somewhat dry but comfortable if you find the boot comfortable on your feet..We have been selling these chapped like this since yoder went in business and we also have chapped a bunch ourselves..I still wear muck leather with a lightweight chap on them squirrel hunting..Still sale quite a few in parts of texas and west va..But I make sure to tell each customer they are not made to stand in water for hours on end and expect to stay dry.
