We bred a female to him once
We had a female we got out of Michigan named Rock River Annie she was little world champion back in the 80’s, Banjo was a fine looking hound, he was just stud dog when I got to see him and he had quiet a mouth on him, never got to hunt with him but them pups out of him and Annie sure was nice, they started easily, and all had good mouths, my only fault was back then coon was scarce in our part of the country and Annie was a get er done female that would not stop or come back you had to pull off a tree, sure would have loved to had a farming back then. But a few of the pups took after her in that aspect and if you weren’t in good coon population they would get out of hearing distance quick. I remember a pup I had out of Annie called Rock River Rowdy, he was wide open too, I ended up letting him go and last I heard he placed 16th in world hunt 2 years later. Lord them old dogs sure did add to the dogs we got now days, I think it’s over looked a lot of times where the real blood come from due to looking at 4 gen registry.
