Boone is no longer live breeding females. He has retired himself and is just taking it easy now. He is a porch/yard dog now. He will be a house dog when it gets colder. He has been a great Coonhound and well deserves his retirement. He has won at Redbone Days, UKC World Championship, Autumn Oaks, multiple Breed Days, multiple PKC Redbone Championships, PKC Breeders Showcase and more. He has also been a great pleasure hound who has treed a whole pile of coons and gotten a bunch of his offspring started. He has even gotten a couple of youth started.

I will always appreciate the quality and caliber of hound Boone is/was. I'm sure he will enjoy his retirement

Boone sits on the back porch and listens to his kids and grandkids out in the woods treeing coons. He is like an old coon hunter that can't go to the dogs anymore but enjoys listening to them tree. Some nights Jared let's him ride along and he sits in the front seat and gets out to listen but doesn't go to a tree unless Jared drives up close enough.
