Biden plans to give Americans that buy an EV $18,000 a year. Now he will have to tax American families $25,000 a year to cover that plus the government's handling/corruption fee. Now the families will have to use or give that money to an EV maker for a vehicle. American families would be better off just buying the EV and not paying the government the $25,000 to get $18,000 back.

Biden plans to hire enough new agents to double the size of the IRS. Guess who is going to have to pay those IRS agents? American families are going to have to pay more taxes to hire people to make sure that they are paying those increased taxes. Oh my goodness, what kind of a mind can come up with this stuff? Not only will there be agents but they will need supervisors, directors, team leaders, HR people, payroll clerks, office space, computers. After all, these are government jobs. I wonder how many of them will be liberal socialists?

Now I understand that Biden and the libertarians want to do something about climate change. I also understand that they think that using less fossil fuel will help. I understand that their solution is to use more electric vehicles.

But in typical backwards economics the democrats think that cutting back on American fossil fuel production will achieve this. I surely don't understand this. If you want America to use more electric energy, first you have to produce and sell these vehicles. You have to also build charging stations. When everyone is driving an electric vehicle, then you will cut back on oil production because you don't need it.

The idiot democrats have put the cart before the horse once again. What kind of economic idiot would cut back on fossil fuel production before he had something to replace it with? I learned a very long time ago that you don't quit your job before you have another one. Now that is simple economics. Biden might know a lot about diplomacy but he doesn't know crap about economics.

I don't understand how you can put economic sanctions on a country when you've made yourself almost totally dependent on them for your main source of energy.

My logic tells me that it doesn’t matter if the oils is supplied from Canada, the US, Russia or the Middle East…the pollution is the same for the world…the greenhouse gases will disperse around the earth’s atmosphere somewhat evenly…
So why shutdown our oil production here in North America?

Same thing with coal…China just made a deal with Russia to supply them with dirty coal…I’m pretty sure the pollution won’t just hang over Russia as it will disperse…

I wonder how many Americans will be proud of our Commander in Chief and how many will be ashamed after he reads the speech his handlers have written for him tonight? I wonder how many of the citizens and leaders of other countries will be laughing at us tomorrow. They did not like Trump but I wonder what they think of Biden now? A new ABC poll just out says that only 37% of Americans approve of the job that Biden is doing. If he was in the private sector, he would be fired immediately for poor job performance.

Electric vehicle sales now account for less than 10% of all car sales. Why in the world would Biden want to stop production of US oil when 90% of vehicles burn gas? This is typical Biden economics. Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to decrease oil production in relation to increase in electric vehicles? I would think that this is a no-brainer but I guess Biden has no brain whatsoever. He has backed himself into a corner. His policy doesn't work but he can't admit it. Because he is such an idiot, he doesn't realize that he would look better if he just admitted that he was wrong and take restrictions off US oil production. Everyone in the whole world knows that he is/was wrong and his policy has failed.

That is the idiot's solution. A smart man with any economic knowledge at all would know that the way to get rid of gas and internal combustion engines would be to come up with a better alternative. Instead of raising the price of gas he should be lowering the price of electric vehicles and not through government subsidies.

Oh my goodness Elon Musk, a big green energy promoter and CEO of the biggest electric vehicle manufacturer said this morning that Biden should overturn his restrictions on US oil production so that US companies could start producing our gas again. Biden will finally put a stop to purchasing Russian oil today.
He has sent delegates to Iran and Venezuela to talk about purchasing oil from them but he won't send a delegate to Texas to talk about buying their oil. I guess that Biden thinks that Iranian and Venezuelian oil burns cleaner than Texas oil.

Trump put sanctions on Iran and Venezuela and stopped buying their oil for a reason. Their governments have not changed one bit. Iran still sponsors or pays terrorist groups. Venezuela is led by a dictator who could care less about his country and is kept in office by Russia. However Biden is going to lift those sanctions and start paying them. What an idiot.

Biden said yesterday that there is nothing that he can do about the high gas prices. Now what kind of leader is that? Biden doesn't have to buy gas. Biden doesn't have to pay for his gas or groceries. We need a new leader if there is nothing that he can do.
