Made me fell pretty good the night we all hunted over at Appelton and Paul was impressed with her. I was thinking that we were all kind of partial but when Paul bragged on her, it was kinda special.

looked like normal dogs the other night, if things could go wrong IT DID. Everything from hunting in a bad spot to both dogs looked like crap. I told Timmy that nights like this make the bad nights look good!haha

Timmy is taking Robin to Columbus tonight. I have to work till midnight. Timmy said that is a good thing because he thinks I'm a jenks when I'm with him on a hunt.haha

Robin got out doged at Columbus and Timmy said she just didn't hunt very well. Started to get by herself but would pull to the other dogs.

Timmy hunted with Dennis Elbrader and said that Dennis's Ruby female should have won the cast.

We hunted with Danny last night and I left the boy's at midnight while they hunted till about 4:30 this morning. The dogs looked good on a few turn outs and not so good on others. BUT one thing for sure, they were blowing the top out of the trees they made. We looked at two coon before I left them and haven't talked to them yet about how they did after I left.

Sure looking forward to attending the reunion. Flo looked pretty sharp last night on three coon. I would say her and Titan wasn't on the gound more than 15 minutes for all. They busted in over 1/2 mile on two different coon and treed three in a tree 250 yds from us. Those two hounds get country fast looking to get treed. They were Airplane fast. The last deal she got treed with Titan testing her. He has a big pulling mouth and hammered all around her before treeing 40 yds away. Titan gets a 100 and loud when treed. She just kept clicking them off and had the meat. I plan on hunting her tonight by herself for several dumps. She won't get cut loose until she is in Iowa after tonight. She may not win but who ever draws her will know they had competition.

Got in at 4:30 this morning. Treed 5 coon 7 den trees and 1 empty on an old track. Robin looked pretty good. Pushed one real hard and up a little bitty tree. Getting by herself, she wasnt doing that at the hunt this weekend. But i think that was lack of hunting last week on my part. Plan on huntin hard again tonight. BTW Smoke got win #2 on bench this last weekend. Won't be too long till dual grand.

There will be no doubt that they will know Flo was there!!! She is a super nice COONDOG and one that will impact the breed! I just hope Robin can develop into the calibar of dog that Flo is.

We need to plan anouther country coon hunt. Sure enjoy getting out and treeing coon with nice hounds. Tim didn't seem to mind the tough hunting areas that we have in this area.

Dennis, Timmy said that your country is pretty rough but he could force himself to hunt in that terrain.haha
Hunted last night, first dump casted Smoke and he worked a fair track back across the road behind us and treed with the meat. Cast him away from the tree and he put two up 300 yrds away from the first.
Next dump we turned loose Robin and she hit a hot one and pushed it so hard that it went up a little tree aand was only about 10 ft off the ground. She could see it and was going ballistic. Just when we were about to catch her, the stupid coon fell out of the tree and she caught it on the ground.

Just got in from hunting. Dogs looked super good tonight. Dumped Smoke first he hit an old track drifted it out and had the coon on the end. Dumped Smoke again hit a better track but had to run it a long ways. Had the coon and it looked like a big boar. Dumped little Robin out last and she blitzed one in style, for her age she is impressing me a lot. She ran it about 500yds moved track fast and gave a big locate and that was all she wrote. She had the coon and we headed for the house. Was gonna go dump em each 1 time tommorrow night but after they looked so good we're gonna let em rest up tommorrow night for the Reunion.

Roy and Timmy it was a pleasure to meet you. I got to hunt with Timmy and Smoke on Thursday and he is a nice nice tree dog. Timmy is a great guy and an asset to our organization.
Ty got to hunt with Roy and Robin and they got a little wet but they treed some coon. As long as Phil Vogel got wet is all that mattered! lol

Thank you Ron and Darrin, it was great hunting with 2 top notch guys with 2 very nice females. We had a great time at the Reunion. I hunted Smoke and Dad hunted Robin. Smoke didnt look to good on thursday night but really made me proud fri and sat. He got by himself twice fri with 1 coon and 1 den and had 1st tree on 2 trees with coon and part of another, had the most + points but took a minus on an empty lost the cast by 25. Sat night he got by himself 3 times had 1 coon and 2 dens also had 1st tree on a coon. At the end of the hunt Rons nice female and Smoke were split and she had a coon and I had a big nest at the top of mine. Did have some success at the show Smoke won Champion male on Saturday that makes win #3.

Thanks, I'm glad to have finally met you and Brian. Barley is an exceptional dog and with alot of hard work will give them a go for the money at the world. He has all the tools and now just needs lots of practice.
P.S. Brian, tell Vicky that the cuts and scrapes out huntin that Barley gets are character marks.haha Put him in the woods and he will be fine.
My little Robin female got a bad cut Saturday night and I had to withdraw her. She has a cut about 8 inches long and it peeled the hide away from her back leg down another 6 inches. My guide took me to a guy that hog hunts and he tried to put steeples in but his steeple gun wouldn't work so when we got back we put super glue on it. It is holding togather for now and she is sore enough that she is not moving around so it should be good.
