Yotes
I did some extensive research on coyotes back around 2001 when I moved to Utah.Coyotes, under normal conditions, coyotes raise pups once a year.(key words are "normal conditions") The research I found were this:Under normal conditions coyotes breed only once a year.BUT,back in the seveties the government spent millions of dollars trying to eradicate the coyotes due to pressure from ranchers who were losing many calves to coyotes during calving season. After succeding in putting a huge dent in the population of coyotes in the first couple of years, biologists noticed an increase in the population. After much research, they found that because of the depletion in the coyote population, the female 'yotes were comin' into heat twice a year instead of once.Talk about survival of the fittest. You tell me.
