!!!---Anyone still use a 5100 Belt or Box Light ?---!!!

I noticed some Light Builders still have these 4-sale.
Does anyone still use them ?
Everyone tries to Copy the Color Tint of the 5100 Head.
I know I have found Hundreds or maybe Thousands of Coon with them.
The Wheat Lights & Nite Lights were bad about Blowing Bulbs but other Brands I hardly ever blew one.
Was Curious......there must still be a Market for them or you wouldn't be able to Buy a New One ?

Tim

Lights

I still use one. I'm also wanting to buy a new one soon. I'm not sold on LEDs. I use them all the time at work and we have too many issues with them. It is way easier to replace a bulb than a led. Also I like a box/ belt light that way when it falls off my head it's still attached and not in water or mud.

Thanks for your thoughts......
I am getting a 21V Beltlight with a 5100 Head, and a Rheostat type Switch.
I havent used one of these in years.....But always liked them.
We will see how I like them now.
I always liked a Beltlight in Winter Months.
Will probably Buy one of the 5200 Heads to use, that was always my Favorite as well.
Thanks

5100 Beltlight

I had been thinking about one of these Lights for awhile.
A few Weeks ago while out Hunting I ran into a Man I know of, he is in his early 70's....and been Coon Hunting for almost 55 years. He was wearing this same light, said its found Hundreds of Coons his Old Walkers have treed. He said he had this same light for 6 years and never blown a bulb. He also told me that his Daughter bought him a New Top of the Line Caplights for Christmas 2 years ago. He wore it a few times but didnt like it....So he lets his Grandson or one of his friends use it. I tagged along on a couple of turnouts with him and when his Dog treed, you didnt need any light with Color in it.....that 5100 Head he was using produced a Nice Amber tint and those Coon Eyes looked like Brake Lights in that Big leafy Oak Tree.
I liked it....!!!
So.....we will see how it goes once I get one.
Tim

I think the BM30 was for the Wheat Lights ?
The 21V I want uses the 12V32 Bulb.

They use the same Battery Packs that they use to use..
I dont think I will have any trouble with it running down, especially with the Rheostat type Switch.
I doubt I will use it much on High side.....because I will still carry the R&M Cordless Spotlight.

I still have a 21 volt belt light but just carry it in truck for a backup. It was from Tim's hunting supply. Never could stand those 12v bulbs popping. I put a led head on it to solve that. Then bought a Boss and never looked back.

5100 Beltlight

I had forgotton how Good the Color was on these 5100 Heads.
The Rheostat type Switch makes it dim down very low. Dont need any Color Modules, that 5100 Makes it a dark amber Color.
This Beltlight is way more Comfy for me than the Caplight.

5100 Beltlight

I will say this......I Love the Color of this 5100 Head...!!!
I Cranked it up on the High Side....WOW...!!!
This Sucker is Bright... !!!
Not worried over Blowing Bulbs.....with the Rheostat hopefully that will fix that.
My only Worry is Burn Time.....and I dont think that will be a problem, wont be using the High Side much due to having a Cordless Spotlight.
Those LED Lights cant compare to that True 5100/5200 Color Tint.
