The 7th annual Tennessee State Championship hunt will be May 18-19, 2018 in Estill Springs, TN sponsored by the Tennessee Sporting Dog Alliance and hosted by Franklin County Coon Hunters Association. GPS address: 230 Park Street, Estill Springs, TN which is 6 miles north of Winchester and 6 miles south of Tullahoma on Hwy 41A at Dennis Panter Park. Details of the hunt:

It’s getting closer….the Tennessee State Championship hunt is May 18 – 19 in Estill Springs, TN hosted by Franklin County Coon Hunters Association, address is 230 Park Street, Estill Springs TN which is in between Winchester and Tullahoma at Dennis Panter Park. If you don’t plan on hunting, stop by and visit. T-shirts will be for sale and the kitchen will be open. A few of the prizes we have received so far are: Diamond Deluxe dog box, SportDog Hound Hunter SD-3225, Garmin T5 collars, gift certificates, dog food, chaps, gift baskets plus trophies 🏆 Details of the hunt:

The reason the dogs were called back is because they were out of the final four when they left. We did not reveal any scores before the deadline but if someone asked if they were in or not we let them know so they would not have to wait around
The dog holding second and fourth place did not want to hunt again. We decided it was only fair to try to get the next two high scoring dogs back to compete in the final four. We gave them until 3.am (the deadline,) to get back to the club.

Final Four is Final Four. If 2 dogs don't want to hunt, they withdraw and split third and fourth place. That leaves 2 dogs to hunt for first and second. You don't let the 5th and 6th place dogs hunt in "Final Four".
