Something else just occurred to me...
Lower humidity in the air means the air can absorb more water...since the air intake to the dog is low in moisture then that also means when the dog is exhaling he would be exhaling lower (dryer) humidity air...but when he is about to exhale this dry air and co2 from the lungs, this lower humidity increases the expelled water rate because of the dryness in the air...
Several months ago we were going to get a cool front moving in...the weather man said it was going to rain...it didn’t rain and the explanation was the low humidity in the atmosphere absorbed the rain before it made it to the ground...
