GR NT CH GR CH Morgan Branch Willing & Abel
I have decided to offer Abel to the public for stud. Abel is an action packed type dog that leaves on the run like he is late for work at 7pm or at 4 am. He hunts on the run and has more drive and heart than most that he is cut with. He takes after his daddy and is a track driving type hound. He runs with a bawl and comes treed with a nice locate and rolls to a bawl/ chop on the tree. Abel is naturally independent that will tree with another dog but could really care less what they are doing. He has a job to do, if they are close he will work with them but they best keep up or he will leave them behind.. He isn't the type of dog that is fun to hunt night in and night out... Nothing exciting, cut him loose , wait 5 min and find the closest way to his tree. He will walk your guts out. He is good about having a coon and runs to catch. At 6 yrs old he still catches alot of coon on the ground and is an open trailing dog.. Gets gone, gets struck, gets treed. He is a yard dog smart type dog that has coon sense. ( knows where to go looking for them) . No lead needed, when you are done. Tone broke, will come down off a tree with a coon and swim the river back to you when called. Minds better than my kids lol. He has a nice bawl mouth and uses it accordingly. Excellent looking hound that can win in stiff competition. Abel's weakness is he is not a lay up type dog. He is track minded but is not a track stradler he moves quick and runs to catch. He is not looking for where the coon went but looking to catch the coon. He doesn't have a big personality, he is a machine that has a job and he knows how to do it. Not an ill bone in his body. He can and has won in thick coon and thin coon, big and small events. He shines when the leaves are off. If you are looking for track speed with a lot of drive and heart that is easy on the eyes feel free to check him out. I will pay him up as a performance sire if the need arises. Not looking to get rich breeding him but would like to breed a few quality females. He has the foundation behind him and comes from a long line of winning coondogs. If he is something that can help your program give me a shout. MIke Harward 641-208-3244
