Xbreed nite hunt question

If Ukc registered hound and Ukc registered mountain cur are bred and pups are registered as xbreed can they be hunted in a regular nite hunt?

Such a cross would be registered as Treeing Curs. They would not be eligible to compete with coonhounds in nite hunts but they could enter "cur" nite hunts. They would also be eligible to enter squirrel hunts.

What is the reasoning in them not being able to compete?

It would be registered as a cur not a hound. It would be able to compete in the cur hunts but not the hound hunts. Ukc doesn't allow curs and hounds to compete against each other.
