Pete, treed his second coon tonite, he did real good tracking him. I had him out a couple of weeks ago, he was showing off, running junk, for his girl friend, he didn't like the tri-tronics, part. So tonite i took him by him self, he did a lot better.

Mr. Pete, treed his 3rd and 4th coon, i had him by him self, he was smelling around a ditch in a little hollow, was not saying anything, gave out a big locate, on a small tree, moved 20 feet over, to a big tree, and put the hammer down. Had a coon in the small tree, and one in the big tree, i gave him one coon, told him good boy, he liked that.

Dale, I got to hunt with Skeeter again last night and she sure did a good job. She is a nice hound. Out of the 8 pups in that kitter, how many are titled now?

Counting Sketter there are four.There were eleven pups in that litter, three died real young all three were running treeing when they got killed.Wish I could make that kinda cross again.

I beleive thats the female I gave Chad Byrd and the Tablers wound upwith her. If this is the same female I heard she was all tree dog.

We have had so much cold, ice and snow the last two wks havent had time to do much else than keeps folks heat going and sleep.Cold weather means job security , but Im ready for a break from work and get back in the woods. Have a couple nice prospects needing time at nite.
Can t get a break. It has gone from winter to summer without any spring. Now trying to get everyone cooled off.Guess I should just call it quits.Would if I didn t like these biscuit eaters so much.

I've cut Pete, loose around 3 times this summer, he hasn't run, any trash, he's getting treed, but he hasn't had any coon yet, but, there ain't hardly any coons around here. He has come a long way and he's getting there.
