What would be a different word than echo to use I see so many female dogs with that name. Personally I don’t really like it. But that’s just my personal opinion.

Okay so she isn't a Lipper semen pup, but would be a granddaughter to Lipper.

What about...

Knight's Lipper Liz
Knight's Lipper Lilly
Knight's Lipper Queen

What's her breeding on bottom side? Might help us give you better options.

Cheers,
Coby

Sorry I probably sound like a complete dumb person, but I am new to the hunting with dogs and I want to try my best and make her a good coonhound. Also have an odd name so when someone sees her they will remember her you know what I mean.

Which Homer?

Hardwood Homer aka Hub's Homer? (Skuna River breeding)
Backwater Homer? (Grandson of the above Homer)
Stylish Homer?

Welcome to the sport. I think you will like it and this pup will teach you a lot.

.

One question. If you marry boyfriend, then I don't see the importance of you keeping a name on the dog you won't be Keeping. By the way. Any guy that buys his girlfriend a Lipper dog is a keeper. But any new boyfriend might not like an old boyfriends dog around. Coon hounds make life complicated.

That’s for sure. I used to stay out all night and help my ex girlfriends dad round up his idiot dogs. I think that’s why he liked me a lot more than she did. That was a long time ago and I still miss the girl, but I don’t miss chasing those stupid dogs one bit.
