Blue-Green Algae poisoning: A Deadly Danger for Dogs

Several dog deaths attributed to this . With the dry months in many areas this year. Has any coon dogs been sickened by this ? I have heard of some in the past getting sick after drinking standing water in the woods. One did die .
Thinking about those swim races . I have seen some race ponds with algae growing in them.
Or you guys that hunt near water all the time.
Texas,North Carolina, New Jersey. So it seems any where it can exist.
