Ok hound owners, it’s time for you to step up. I am trying my hardest to fight this tethering bill in PA that WILL AFFECT YOU DIRECTLY, but I can’t do it by myself. I’m going to be speaking with the sponsor of this bill who’s willing to listen, and apparently is a hunter himself. You know what would help? If some of you would call him and show I’m not just blowing smoke, and that hound owners are taking this seriously. I have to say I’m pretty disappointed in the response to this one.

I can talk all day long to this Senator, but me being an out-of-state interest doesn’t hold nearly as much water as hearing from hound owners. If you want to protect your sport, don’t stand by and let it be taken from you. Call Sen Alloway’s office today!

More people really do need to get involved in this type of thing. I would suggest that these issues be past along to the clubs and brought up at the hunts because not everyone is on the computer. We went through a similar situation here in Ohio, but for now it is a dead issue. Residents of the state really need to speak up. It does not matter if you trial dogs, just hunt, have a pet dog, these kinds of bills will restrict the 99% that take great care of their animals. It only takes a minute of time to send an email, make a phone call, or even write a letter.
