Good luck to all of you in your preparations for kill season coming up here next weekend! I know Aubrey is sure looking forward to it too! I'm sure the dogs are too........

John - We were very glad to hear that the cross worked well for you, and hopefully more crosses like that can be made down the road as well. When you take the right dogs, with the right traits, and double back up on the Lulu/Bruiser/Thunder/Chief blood, that can be a great thing in our opinion. Keep us posted on their progress.....

Aubrey's been trying to get our young dogs rolling for kill season. To recap:

*Fire: 11 months, (Clyde x Rattle) has only been out twice, and is a get through the country quick little dog. She's come in heat though, so she'll have to sit awhile....

*Frog: 13 months, (Ox x Chance....who is also T-top and Outlaw bred) has only been out 2-3 times, and is running and treeing with the older dogs. She has a beautiful warble bawl on track, steady chop on tree.

*Taterchips: 12 months,(Tater x Dice) was running and TREEING HARD on only her second night to the woods. Good loud squall bawl mouth, beautiful changeover, HARD treedog

*Baby: (Rock...whose off of Rip x Rose X Star) 8 months old, first night to the woods, ran tracks and was LOCKED down treed.

Overall, very happy and very excited to see the progress on these pups, and looking forward to the future generations......

Aub's also had quite a few of the old dogs out the last 2 weeks, getting them ready for season as well. Here's a few pictures from his hunts...

some really good success crossing my hounds with some of the Butlers dogs. Can't meet a nicer man and a Christian brother. No question of some blessing on this family. Keep up the good work Red Fever Redbone Kennel!!

Your reddawgs are looking good, Carl. You're grandkids are pretty cute too......definitely looks like they'll be hunters like their Dad & Grandpa!

Thought I'd do a quick update.....

*Ox has picked up his first NITECH, NITECH FCH CH PR Crazy Mtn Deva (Ox x Rose), owned by Tim Chase. Deva just turned 2 yrs old, and is a pretty good swim dog as well.....I wouldn't be surprised if Tim gets her finished to Quad Champion sometime in the future.

*Rip has his first GRNITECH. GRNITECH FCH GRCH PR Crazy Mtn Big Hunk Joe (Rip x Rose), also owned by Tim Chase. I'd have to look up the birthdate for sure.....but I'm pretty sure Joe just turned 3 years old. Congrats Tim & dogs.

Been starting to feel better and been getting out some.
Miss Tot as figured out when the gun shoots, something fun is about to happen.
Started tying her back at the tree and when ricky hits the ground she was pulling, spinning and yipping. Pet her good and cut her loose. MMM fur. LOL

This one lived for another hunt.

A few updates....

**Tim Chase emailed and said he put a 1st place win on an 8 month old Ox x Ava pup, PR Crazy Mountain Midnite Lacey. He also put a BOS win on her, got a Champion Show win on NITECH FCH CH Crazy Mtn Deva. Congrats Tim!

**Per the December 2013 Bloodlines, NITECH GRCH Two Worlds Collide is the Current #1 Reproducer for the males, and also GRCH Red Fever Annie's Razor Girl "Maggie" is the Current #10 Reproducer for the females.

Hey Tom, most of the people that got them just started messing with them this past summer/fall because they were too young in the season before. From the ones we've heard back from, they are coming along. It's probably a bit early to tell how they'll finish out, they need some steady woods time first....which it doesn't sound like many have gotten yet, a lot of people had a short season due to weather. I only have a picture of one from this season, she is on the video at 7:05, her name is Belle. Hope to see you around at the events this year.
