Pretty sure you're assuming Round A and B are two different rounds. They are actually one and the same round, as in Round 1 (a) and Round 1 (b).
You may enter for one or the other (a or b). This means that some of the dogs will run in the morning (a) and the rest will run in the afternoon (b). Therefore, you could actually enter two different dogs and hunt one in the morning and another in the afternoon. But you can't hunt the same dog in both.
You can in fact single register a dog at the Nationals, but the event is "advanced entry only". Therefore, the dog would have to be registered before it could be entered and by the advanced entry deadline (March 30, 2018).
If you have a dog(s) that you would like to enter in the Nationals that is not registered, you can send in the single registration application, along with the Nationals Entry Application.
