Mark, Congratulations on the purchase of Hoss. Rambo fans should look closely at this stud. My Hoss x Face female went deep tonight and got struck by herself at 4 months old. They are going to be early starters.

Stud fee is $300 with proof of current negative brucellosis test.

I am hearing really good things about pups out of Hoss and different females. I have Mator here at the kennel if anyone would like to go hunting with one of Hoss's pups. Mator finished to Night Champion with 2 firsts and 1 second place wins at 15 months old. He currently has 2 wins towards Grand, 2 HTX passes and a Best of Show with Competition.

hoss and mator

Hoss has a chance to be a a reproducer where he is located now. There isn't many people from nebraska that hunt blue dogs. It was not my plan so sell him but mark made a phone call and the rest is history. I appreciate all that mark has done and I am sure there will be alot of nice females bred down south. Nothing better than promoting your stud by winning with a pup out of him.

hoss x shine second litter

Took my male pup I call rambo out the other night. he caught one and treed one in about thirty minutes. Big mouth big motor and hunts out like his daddy.

Good deal Ritchie. I know you will not be disappointed. Derek, sounds like a nice one and I believe he is only 11 months old. Took Mator for a short round last night. Struck while on the leash. He showed a lot of speed and covered some ground. Treed hard and had the meat.
Hoss is throwing independent pups that have huge mouths and start at a very early age.

GRCH GRNTCH Lost Creeks Tree Slammin Hoss

Its been about 3 weeks since I have taken Hoss out due to hunting Mator in the hunts. Took him out last night by himself. First turnout was on a peninsula south side of Lake coffee mill. He hunted out good but did not strike. Called him in from 600 yards.
Next drop, he struck in at 900 yards and moved the track good and treed at 1.2 miles. I can see he is going to get this old fat boy back in shape pretty quick.

Hoss is pretty much a dead loner. He will tree with other dogs if they come to him. He goes hunting as soon as you turn him loose and will go as far as it takes to find a coon. On average, I have seen him go 600 to 900 yards to get struck. When he strikes, he will tree and have a coon a big majority of the time. He runs track with a bawl, 3 long bawl locates and turns it over to a nice ringing chop on tree.
Mator is from his first litter. I am told that he was a natural starting early and finished to night champion at 15 months old. Derek Hiatt has a full brother at 11 months old that will tree his own coon.
I think Hoss has 40+ pups on the ground and from the old post that Derek had on this message board, everyone seemed happy with their pups out of him. Thanks for your interest in Hoss!

Make sure you bring a good comfortable pair of boots when you come as he can get deep every once in a while.

Jeff she will be bred just as soon as she comes in. Not going to brag on her, but it doesn't take long to call the roll on ones of her caliber. I have plenty of references on her. She has been bred twice with very good results. I bred her to Smiley's Levi semen last year but didn't get pups. After sitting on that semen for 15 years, that should tell you how much I think of her.

She is VERY hard and wide hunting, independent, and VERY accurate.

Sounds good. I need them to be hard wide hunters where I hunt, and after that long walk I need to see the coon more often than not. I also want them to be by themselves unless something tags along with them. I don't want mine following no dog.

Sounds like Hoss is the same way, so should be one or two in the bunch that will have those traits
